You even get a training allowance of between $1,200 and $1,400 per month during different phases of the course.
The pay might not seem that much at first, but what if we told you that you could potentially earn up to US$20,000?
Wages start at US$2,500 per month and this increases progressively up to US$7,000 as a Captain. If you progress to become a Captain of a specialised ship, a salary of up to US$20,000 is not unheard of.
