From Government Budget 2020
- Cash grant of $800/month for 3 months under COVID-19 Support Grant for low- and middle-income workers who lose jobs due to COVID-19
(The scheme will be open for application from May 2020 to September 2020. Individuals who are eligible may submit their application at their nearest Social Services Offices (SSO), or as otherwise advised based on the latest MOH advisories. You may locate your nearest SSO at http://www.msf.gov.sg/dfcs/sso/default.aspx) - Greater flexibility in assessment of ComCare Scheme applicants who fall into financial hardship
- Temporary Relief Fund to provide immediate financial assistance
(You may apply at all SSOs and Community Clubs)
- SGUnited Jobs initiative to create 10,000 jobs over the next year
- Virtual career fair till 12 Apr under SGUnited Jobs, with 2,200 short-term and temporary jobs
- 8,000 SGUnited Traineeships programme places in research and development labs, deep-tech start-ups, accelerators and incubators

- $500 SkillsFuture Credit top-up for every Singaporean aged 25 and above from 1 April 2020
- Additional $500 SkillsFuture Credit for Singaporeans aged 40 to 60
- Increased capacity of reskilling programmes
SkillsFuture Credits top-up will be automatic.
From NTUC
- One-off payout of up to $300 under NTUC Care Fund (COVID-19) for eligible union members
- Tap on NTUC’s e2i services such as career trial, career coaching and skills upgrading workshops
(open to non-union members too!)
- Up to $250 fee support per year for union members to participate in courses under UTAP
