Can we spare a moment to honour the workers stationed at the power plant in Senoko?
It’s likely many of us don’t think about how, without them, very little can be done as a nation.
Round-the-clock, these workers run the power plant to provide a continuous flow of electricity to power our lives.
Can we agree that these workers are the reasons why other essential services can continue?
Unlike nurses, security officers, and cleaners, power workers can neither be found nor seen by the common man on the street.
In fact, we wouldn’t be able to recognise these power workers even if we stood next to them on the train that runs on the electricity they produce.
These workers whose sweat keeps our country going 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, are every bit as essential as other workers. These workers from Senoko Energy have a message for us.
