Water Bike
Someone has taken water transportation to a whole new level by building an electric bicycle you can ride on water.
Called Hydrofoiler XE-1 by Manta5, the bike has a 400-watt electric motor to amplify pedalling so you can glide across a lake, river or ocean with ease. Yay exercise!
Plus the bike can be pedalled to the surface if submerged, so falling off isn’t a big deal. I mean, provided there isn’t a man-eating shark tailing you. Then it’s a huge deal. Possibly the biggest deal of your life.

Here Comes the Sun, It’s All Right
Charge your mobile phone in two hours with this paper-thin solar panel created by electronics company Yolk. Called Solar paper, the charger works essentially the same way as any other portable USB charger.
When you need to juice up your phone just plug it into the device, and it’ll charge it up for you. However, unlike those other devices, Solar Paper is fuelled by an unlimited and eco-friendly power source – the sun.

Optical Illusion
Imagine you’re driving down the road and see this zebra crossing ahead. What would you do?
Iceland has become the latest country to introduce 3D zebra crossings in a bid to make drivers slow down. The idea is that the crossing makes drivers think there is something on the road.
This makes them slow down, reducing the risk of serious accidents involving pedestrians.
The crossings have also been implemented in countries like India, South Africa, China and Kyrgyzstan. Do you think this would work in Singapore?
